EU consortium concludes BioSupPack project with industrial-ready PHB from brewery waste

After five years and €7.6M in EU funding, the BioSupPack consortium has demonstrated a scalable biorefinery process converting brewery spent grains into high-purity polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB), reaching Technology Readiness Level 6 and opening a pathway for commercial licensing.
