Global packaging manufacturer ALPLA has inaugurated a state-of-the-art facility in Calamba City to advance sustainable packaging and bioplastic production capabilities within the Southeast Asian market.

ALPLA and NTCP are piloting a solvent-based process in the Netherlands to produce food-safe recycled HDPE, supported by a Dutch government grant, aiming for industrial scale by 2030.
