About the Author

Sven Cammerer is the creator, editor, and maintainer of Bioplastics Portal. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, he is Head of Digital Marketing & CRM at Sulzer Chemtech with a background in chemical engineering and 20+ years of experience in plant construction and the polymer industry.

Sven holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Verfahrenstechnik (Chemical Engineering) from TU Hamburg-Harburg and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen. He previously led the Polymer Business at Sulzer Chemtech AG and worked in the M&A department of Sulzer AG — giving him deep insight into the industrial and commercial dimensions of the bioplastics value chain.

Sven is the author of Get Cited or Get Left Behind, a practical guide to Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — helping content creators and businesses ensure their expertise is visible in AI-powered search results. His work bridges the gap between technical bioplastics knowledge and modern digital visibility strategies.
